For over 15 years, I have worked in start-ups, scale-ups, and multinationals using graphic design to inspire, excite, and most importantly, deliver results.
My experience is a unique blend of design, consulting, internal communications, and business leadership. This gives me not only the real, practical understanding of the needs of your organisation and audience, but also how to apply design with purpose to achieve your objectives.
Over my career I have produced impactful designs for brands like ASOS, Three, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Telefonica. I have led communications for global organisations spanning dozens of countries and worked with organisations from all sizes, from start-ups to multinational.
Since launching Mike Bowker Creative, I have followed my calling to work with small businesses, independents and community organisations that seek to make the world a better place. Organisations such as Mind & Co, Southend Vox and In Cahoots.
I am proud to be an associate member of SAVS (Southend Association of Voluntary Services), providing design support to charities in my local community.
What I stand for
1. Make a positive dent in the world.
Design that helps make the world a better, happier, healthier place.
Building community, bringing joy and improving lives.
We might not cure all the ills in the world, but we can brighten our little corner.
2. Beauty, with a purpose
Design, laser-focussed on delivering your objectives.
Every pixel, line, letter, shape and colour used with deliberate intention.
Beautiful designs, but with a purpose... never pretty for pretty's sake.
3. Use every crayon in the box
In an increasingly homogenous world, stand out from the crowd.
Be bold. Be colourful. Be uniquely you.
Embrace the full range of creativity, ideas and styles to express your identity in its full, uninhibited glory.
